There are two routes to follow. From Manali to Leh, it takes approximately 12 hours, whereas from Srinagar to Leh, it is approximately 10 hours. Prefer going through the Srinagar route as you will get to experience a lot of unique experiences, such as the Shikara ride and Houseboats stay that Srinagar is famous for as well as adjacent Mughal Gardens. From exploring scenic places to trying activities such as Paragliding and Jet Ski, you and your family will enjoy the journey. The route is: Delhi - Srinagar - Sonamarg - Kargil - Likir Gumpa - Gurudwara Pathar Sahib - Leh. From thereon, you can also explore Nubra Valley and Buddhist Monasteries before returning home. On the other hand, Manali Leh Highway is considered one of the dangerous roads, and the journey is said to be long and tiring, which you would want to avoid at any cost.
