This is the traditional route, going through which you will find the mythical spots fondly associated with the story behind the origin of Amarnath. Lord Shiva, with his consort Parvati undertook this very trail to narrate the story of Immortality in complete seclusion.

The journey to arrive at the abode of Shiva in Amarnath is not an easy trek to cover. The overland route is approx 47 km away from the Holy Cave. Whereas the Baltal is the shortest route(18 km), Pahalgam is the most famous and preferred path for devotees determined to trek the old way.
This 6-day trip will include:

      • ● Srinagar to Pahalgam (90 km / Approx 2.5 hr drive away).
      • ● Pahalgam to Chandanwari (16 km / Approx 4 hr).
      • ● Camp Stay.
      • ● Chandanwari to Sheshnag (Approx 5-6 hr away / Trekking).

      • ● Sheshnag to Panchtarni.
      • ● Panchtarni to Amarnath Cave (6 km/Trek).

      • ● Shopping Tour- Dry Fruits/ Souvenirs/ Gifts.
