Raghunath Temple, Jammu

Raghunath Temple in Jammu city houses many Hindu deities, the principal deity being Lord Rama, the avatar of God Vishnu. The temple was built between 1853 and 1860 by Maharaja Gulab Singh and his son Maharaj Ranbir Singh. Upon entry into the complex, you will see the massive portrait of Maharaja Ranbir Singh and Lord Hanuman. The temple has seven shrines, and each shrine has its Shikara. Thus, the temple is considered one of the biggest temple complexes in North India.
