Tourism vastly contributes to the economic livelihood of a place. As it progresses, so does the developmental aspect of the State. However, the downside of tourism is its encroachment on the resources and space of Nature & Wildlife. From an ecological point of view, Tourism puts enormous pressure on the Natural resources of a region; this includes endangering species and their habitat, which is why National Parks have been set up to conserve the natural environment and preserve the species at the brink of extinction.
Kashmir is privileged with abundant natural resources and dense forests.
