Your day will start with the capital city Srinagar where a driver will be waiting for you to greet your family and take you to your Hotel/Houseboats. Once you freshen up, you can start with the world-renowned Shikara Ride on Dal Lake or by visiting the nearby Mughal Gardens. The city of lakes is famous for its many tourist destinations, such as Kathi Darwaza, Hari Parbat Fort, Pari Mahal, Tulip Garden, etc. Depending on the season you visit the Valley, choosing to go after a destination differs. Activities include Shikara rides, Paragliding, Hot Air Ballooning, etc. A houseboat stay in Kashmir is unique and something you must try for a different experience.

On Day two, you will head towards The Valley of Shepherds, Pahalgam. Day 3

In the morning, have breakfast and leave for Gulmarg, the exciting hub for thrill-seekers. Get ready to ride Asia’s highest Gondola car, Dine at Snowglu and Trek the Apharwat peak to reach Alpather Lake. Moreover, you can also visit Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve with your family. If you get tired of all the activities, such as sightseeing or trekking, you can spend another day/night in Gulmarg.

Sonamarg is known as the Golden Meadow. An approx 3.5-hour drive from Gulmarg will take you to this Valley of Gold. Upon arriving, check in to your hotel, have breakfast or lunch as per timings and head out to see Thajiwas Glacier, Nichinai Pass, Baltal Valley and Krishansar Lake. Hike to the Seven Alpine Lakes or ride ponies to absorb the lush green vista ahead of you. Activities include Camping, Trekking, Fishing, etc.

The last day of your family trip is a 2.5 hr drive back to Srinagar. For whatever time you get, go local shopping, and buy gifts and souvenirs for friends and relatives on your way home. A parting souvenir will be gifted by a KO representative wishing you to return soon. The driver will drop you off at the Srinagar International Airport, and your tour will end.
