The name Badamwari means “garden of almonds”. This garden is located in the Srinagar city, near the Hari Parbat Fort and oversees the Nigeen Lake. Badamwari hosts a good population of almond trees and it is also a place famous for a well which is believed to have been used by the rulers of the past to punish thieves. Locals say that the thieves were thrown in this well by the rulers to punish them. Relax, run, dance and take lovely photographs in this charming garden. It is also an ardent spot for joggers.

Zabarwan mountains backing this multi-terraced garden are a highlight in the Nishat Bagh. This garden is one of the most visited and famous gardens in Kashmir. It is located on the banks of Dal Lake and was built by Mughal Ruler Jahangir. Flowers beds, fountains, ponds, and water channels flowing through the garden, this is the charm of it.
